Forget soccer and forget about what other people are doing: the main topic now is sustainability. And boo me if I’ve got this wrong. The word itself it awesome, pure finesse and everyone who says it is in the hype. But who in fact, says it? Even more important: who says it and “practices what they preach”?
Companies announce, full of pride, their green attitudes, “peace and love”, the “xixi no banho” campaign is going to save the planet, everyone thinks it’s cool, but much waste is still going down the drain. I don’t think it wrong to talk about sustainability, stimulating actions for the environment or developing eco-friendly practices. The fact is that we need to leave the discussion field, stop enveloping ourselves in this beautiful green aura and dig in.
